Blowouts can be fun. If you are the team that is dominating. On Friday, that team was the Southeast Polk Rams.
The game started off fast. Literally. Senior Tate Christensen took a kick return back 84 yards for a touchdown after fumbling an exchange on a reverse on the same play.
The trick play was not needed though, as Southeast Polk took a 42-0 lead at halftime.
Scott Ault led the way running the ball for the Rams with 8 carries for 77 yards and two touchdowns.
Senior receiver Cody Hyler was the
leading receiver for Southeast Polk with 4 receptions for 80 yards.
Tate Christensen also added two touchdowns.
After the 49-0 rout, Southeast Polk’s fifth win in the last six games, the Rams turn their attention to 5-3 Council Bluffs-Lincoln.
